Who we work with

We work with young people aged between 11-19 years old, who live in the local community where we deliver our programmes. We provide different services to different young people depending on their need.

Our Targeted Programmes

We target and work with a core group of young people that other providers struggle to work with or cannot engage with. Many of the young people that we work with are truly socially excluded – some are drug users, have mental health issues and live in poverty or have a combination of these factors. They are deprived and disaffected and their opportunities in life are very limited; when opportunities do arise for them they are often inappropriate. They do not fit the 'norm' of other young people that attend school and many do not have positive relationships with their families. They may drink, take and / or sell drugs, steal and do very little that is deemed to be positive. They have limited positive aspirations with few positive role models in their lives. We engage them on the streets and in the places where they go through our unique targeted youth work and we receive referrals from statutory and voluntary/community sector partners to ensure that we target this client group.
